Session Process
Step 1 - Book your session!

Step 2 - Before the session
You are as much a part of the design process as you want to be. first, by phone or email, we'll go over what type of image you are looking for (it's OK if you're not sure ahead of time); how you plan on using these images; and who your audience is. We'll choose the elements of your portrait based on what you are trying to communicate. We'll discuss wardrobe, and if you'll be requiring a hair and/or make-up professional on the day of the shoot. We'll also decide if we're going to shoot at the studio, or another location of your choosing (Office, Home, Park Beach, etc...)
Step 3 - Day of your session
The day we shoot will be fun and relaxing! If you've chosen to have makeup and/or hair professional, you'll spend some time with them first, then we'll get started. We have virtually any type of music you care to listen to, and beverages are complimentary. After a few minutes making sure everything is perfect with the lighting, background, wardrobe, makeup, and hair, we'll shoot 25 to 30 frames and bring them up on the 27" computer screen. This gives both of us a chance to look at the images full size and see if any further adjustment is required. We'll repeat the process until we're both sure we've captured a few amazing images you're thrilled with. The amount of time invested will depend on the number of "looks" we're photographing, but figure about 20-30 minutes per look. If you would like to make your selections at this time, we'll take a few minutes to go over everything from the session and note your favorites. If it's just too hard to decide, I'll email you a link to the proofs so you can go through them when it's more convenient and/or get input from those you trust (I'll also note my favorites as it may help to narrow the selection).
Step 4 - Retouching and final delivery
Once you select the images you'd like retouched it will take 24-48 hours to finalize the images. Key areas I focus on are any blemishes, dark circles under the eyes, teeth, crows feet, complexion and any other specific area you may request. I will retouch as much or as little as you request while keeping a natural yet radiant look. Any payment outstanding at this time will be due and payable before final delivery of the image files.
